For new investors, as well as companies working in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), DP World has decided to reduce the costs involved in license registration and administration all around.
At Jafza, their very extensive Customer Support Initiative was made to cut all business-related expenses such as registration, licensing and related administrative functions by 50-70 percent.
According to DP World, hundreds of new businesses and over 7,500 businesses working out of Jafza drawn in by its plug and play infrastructure and solutions for trade will be assisted. Additionally, a number of other online services will also be offered for free because of its current digitalization process, a statement said.
The CEO of DP World, managing director of the UAE Region and the CEO of Jafza, Mohammed Al Muallem, said: “The initiative is highly significant… It’s a timely move to inspire our customers towards pursuing their business targets with greater confidence and purpose.”
Further stating that “It’s specifically designed to create value and opportunities for the companies to channel their resources to support their activities sustainably. We believe this forward-looking initiative will enable companies to do business in a smarter way and generate more business and create new jobs.”
DP World, UAE Region has said that a huge percentage of Dubai’s GDP around 33.4 percent is due to it a contribution, adding that it strongly believes that this initiative will only make it a lot easier to do business at Jafza, increasing Dubai’s reputation as one of the global centers for commerce and trade.
