The UAE has introduced a new Emirati Traveller Services Card to help citizens who are travelling outside the country. The card gives Emiratis quick access to travel support and emergency help, making their trips safer and easier.
Launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the card is now available at major UAE airports, including Dubai International Airport and Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.
With this smart card, travellers can:
- Register their travel plans before departure through Twajudi
- Get emergency return documents within 30 minutes
- Receive live travel updates by scanning the QR code on the card
The ministry confirmed that Emiratis can also contact a 24/7 emergency helpline at 0097180024 if they need help while abroad.
Officials say the card is part of a wider effort to protect UAE citizens and keep them informed during international travel. It works closely with UAE embassies around the world to offer fast support when needed.
