International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) has opened a new Free Zone in Panama City, expanding its presence outside the UAE for the first time. The project has been officially approved by the Government of Panama and is part of IFZA’s effort to support international trade and business growth.
Panama was chosen because of its key location between North and South America, its strong financial sector, and its reputation as a global trade link. The new Free Zone will help companies from Latin America reach the UAE and other international markets more easily.
Businesses that set up in the IFZA Panama Free Zone will get several benefits, such as exemption from corporate taxes, no import duties, and support services like company registration, banking, and visa processing.
Panama’s recent removal from the international high-risk lists also makes it more attractive for foreign investors.
IFZA will now begin welcoming companies to its Panama hub and promoting it as a gateway for global expansion. The Free Zone is expected to create jobs and support long-term growth in the region.
