Who is Eligible?
According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), applicants must demonstrate notable achievements in environmental fields. Eligible candidates include:
- Recognized members of international organizations focused on environment, energy, sustainability, and climate change.
- Holders of Master’s or Ph.D. degrees in relevant fields.
- Recipients of national or international awards in environmental sustainability.
- Financial contributors to environmental initiatives.
- Researchers specializing in environmental protection.
Application Process
Eligible individuals can apply online through the ICP Smart Services Platform or visit Customer Happiness Centres and authorized typing centers.
Step 1: Apply for Nomination
- Applicants must first submit a nomination request or be nominated by a competent UAE authority.
- The nomination request fee is AED 350.
Step 2: Submit Visa Application
- Upon nomination approval, applicants can submit their full visa application through ICP’s platform.
- Required information includes personal details, passport information, and proof of contributions in environmental sustainability.
- UAE residents must update their visa status accordingly.
- Applicants from outside the UAE must first apply for a six-month multiple-entry visa (AED 1,250) to complete residency procedures.

- Valid passport (minimum six months validity).
- Recent passport-sized photograph (white background).
